Kasteelfest: 31 July - 3 August 2014
This event take place in the Keukenhof castle every year in the first weekend of August. This is a sparkling medieval fantasy event that consist of bands and catering from all of europe. Please visit its official page for additional information and tickets.

Edam Cheese market: 2 July - 20 August 2014
This event take place in the town of Edam - queen of cheese. A colorful, mostly yellow, market just like in the old times. The town's bells will ring in the end of the day by a famous persona. The market is held in the Damplein every Wednesday from 10.30-12.30. The Kaasmarkt page summarize additional information in English.

Broeker Feestweek: 9 August - 17 August 2014
This event take place in the town of Broek in Waterland - and consist of many fun stuff to do: a fair, canoe racing, water show and many other exciting adavantures. A full detailed program is available at the Info page (in Dutch).

Keltisch Mystival: 16-17 August 2014
This event take place in the castle of Heerlijkheid Brederode in Santpoort zuid. A two day celtic festival with folk bands from Scotland and Ireland, workshops, archery, story tellers and more! You can find more information (in Dutch) in the official event page.

Monumentendag: 13-14 September 2014
This two day event is a real treat and one of the biggest in The Netherlands: Thousands of monuments throughout the country is open for public, some for free/really tiny entrance fee: Museums, castles and much more all ready to be discovered.
